Have you ever heard of the “Hitler Youth”? Well guess what, Obama must have really liked that idea too, because here it comes. Click here to read all about it. The GIVE Act sounds great at first- whats so bad about encouraging young people to volunteer in their communities? The scary part is that little word they keep throwing in…mandatory (what exactly is mandatory volunteer service anyways?? Only an administration that thinks socialism is the American way would come up with that…)
“The purpose of the bill is to require mandatory community service for all young people in the United States” (Rep. Ted Poe) It gets even scarier when you read what Rahm Emanuel, Obama’s chief of staff, had to say about the subject in a book he co-authored The Plan: Big Ideas for America
Here’s how it would work. Young people will know that between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five, the nation will enlist them for three months of civilian service. They’ll be asked to report for three months of basic civil defense training in their state or community, where they will learn what to do in the event of biochemical, nuclear or conventional attack; how to assist others in an evacuation; how to respond when a levee breaks or we’re hit by a natural disaster. So, basically he wants to force all young people into a government program. It doesn’t matter who you are, it doesn’t matter what you believe, if you are of the age that is easiest to indoctrinate-you’re in the program. Before they rushed to change some of the wording, Obama’s website also reflected these plans. ”Change.gov read, ‘President-Elect Obama will expand national service programs like AmeriCorps and Peace Corps and will create a new Classroom Corps to help teachers in under served schools, as well as a new Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, and Veterans Corps. “Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year,” (source : http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=80539)
If you watch the C-Span video of Rep. Mc Carthy discussing the bill, you will hear her mention AmeriCorps as one of the organizations volunteers will be recruited into. AmeriCorps is regularly employed by groups like Planned Parenthood. So yes, you could be drafted into counseling women to get an abortion. Wait, what if you’re pro-life and that goes against your beliefs? Oh right, I forgot. Its mandatory. So that won’t matter, you have to do it anyway. Oh, and by the way, the bill says you aren’t allowed to express your personal beliefs either. Just the ones they tell you to.
